Steve established himself as a Martial Arts instructor at an early age, in the mid 1970’s.

Whilst studying the Martial Arts over many years and seeing the beneficial and positive effects it has on people, along with the passion he felt through practising and teaching this philosophical art of combat and self defence, he felt compelled to pass it on, creating what is now known as the Whiteley Kung Fu Institute (WKFI).
